    Third Annual Ringneck Ranch Hunt

For two years AWWC members have hunted with Ringneck Ranch out of Tipton, Kansas.

Show Me Birds European Pheasant Shoot

We have an invitation to a European pheasant from Show Me Birds in Kansas. They release 400 birds one at a time.  By the time the pheasants get to you they are flying like bats out of Hell at 40 to 50 yards in the air. The hunters spend equal time in each of 10 blinds. Each blind is set up with a different motif, kind of like Disney World for hunters.

The day starts at 9 am with the “Pheasant Fury” where 90 targets are released in 60 seconds. (Don’t worry, you have 13 other shooters helping to hit the targets.) After lunch the fun begins.

We stay at the La Quinta in Joplin, Mo. which is about 17 miles from the lodge. The European shoot is aprox. $450.  Prices for field hunts depend on how many birds you release. Goto www.showmebirds.com to learn more.
