Join us as we visit with Patrick Ireland with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department Inland Fisheries to learn more about Inland Fisheries Management in Central Texas.
ABOUT PATRICK: Patrick Ireland, TPWD Inland Fisheries Management District Biologist, will provide a short presentation related to fisheries management in Central Texas and the diverse angling opportunities found in our waterbodies. These diverse opportunities include the cold-water rainbow trout tailrace fishery found on the Guadalupe River, trophy smallmouth buffalo fisheries located in our urban Austin area reservoirs, Guadalupe Bass (state fish of Texas) found in many of our hill country streams, trophy striped bass opportunities on our highland lakes, and other unique angling opportunities.
